The Name
🎶 Dreams do come true in Neeeeeeew Orrrrrrleeeeeeans🎶 My favorite Louisiana themed Disney animation was loosely based on the life of world renowned Chef Leah Chase (1923-2019), who owned Dooky Chase restaurant in New Orleans. The real life Princess Tiana, Mrs. Chase has fed locals, tourists, Hollywood A listers, and U.S. presidents alike her file (fee-lay) gumbo and peach cobbler. The animation is testimony to the blessings of hard work and stick-to-itiveness and the importance of work/life balance.
